International contest of the Haapsalu Graphic Design Festival "Isikupära/Individuality ‘19", the theme of which was ELU/LIFE, gathered 293 pieces by 114 designers from the European Union, Russia, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Cuba, Belarus, Ukraine, China, Iran, Indonesia and the USA. The jury, comprised of graphic design professionals chose 82 artworks to be exhibitied at HGDF 2019. Besides the wide geographical range of the participants, it represented students as well as renowned masters who all have used diverse possibilities of graphic design – typography, calligraphy, illustration, photography, different painting as well as mixed techniques.
