Living the modernist city-WWA*In Warsaw, modernist buildings are a major source of inspiration for local designers and visual artists. Along with typography or neons, they are the material the city and its identity are made of. To explore this urban grammar,
Kolektiv 318, a curators' group based at Le Corbusier's Housing Unit in Marseille, selected artworks by
Edgar Bąk, Magdalena Łapińska, Mikołaj Długosz, Marta and Henryk Kwiatek, Izabela Sroka and Julia Cybis. Edgar Bąk, graphic designer, will come to share his own vision of the modernist city and of its impact on contemporary design and creation.
Workshop/talk takes place on 17.09, 12.00 at Noblessneri Valukoda.
